There was an Old Friar whose favorite food was broccoli,

And he always put this crucifer in his

homily.

But one day he was sauntering by a farmer’s wife’s stove,

And the aroma of meat cooking made his taste buds rove.

No more would this Old Friar call his favorite food broccoli.
