After I read the doctor’s
E-mail

I was tempted to spout like

A whale.

Here’s what I said to myself:

“I’ve got to start

Walking

And stop all the

Talking.”

“If I’m going to win this battle of

The bulge

I’ve got to start counting just how much I

Indulge.”

“To eschew my dark fate

I’ve got to lose some weight.”

Here’s what the doctor said:

"Your diabetes is

Showing good improvement
But lipids are

Quite abnormal.”
